Adi Singh is Ford's global subject-matter expert on aerial robotics and UAV systems. At the company's Research and Innovation Center in Palo Alto, he spearheads strategic innovations in drone technology that integrate UAVs with automotive systems. Adi established Ford’s research program on drones, and has been critical in formulating the company’s product development roadmap in this field.
As Ford's primary representative to the Federal Aviation Administration, Adi has been instrumental in bringing the voice of the automotive industry to the aviation community on policy issues affecting commercial drones, vehicular integration and public safety. He was also a member of the FAA ARC on UAS Identification and Tracking, and sits on the Advisory Board of Commercial UAV Expo.
In his current role, Adi oversees the execution of Ford’s UAV portfolio and manages external partnerships for implementing and field testing company prototypes.
